Congregational Support

New congregations are being started in many areas as the gospel of Jesus Christ is being shared. These congregations often gather under a tree or construct a mud hut on borrowed land. Adopt Uganda is seeking to purchase one to three acres for sanctuary construction and crop land for the pastors to be able to feed his/her family. Land purchase can range from $1,000 to $10,000 depending on the location and size of land.

Transportation is very expensive and difficult to come by for those in rural Uganda. Pastors often serve churches great distances from their homes. Adopt Uganda is seeking to assist these pastors, and District Superintendents who are supporting the work of many pastors, by purchasing both bicycles and motorbikes. A motorbike makes this travel more efficient and economical and can be purchased for $1,600.
